Hello there my gorgeous friends on the internet, Grady here with another article about code. If you are a very good coder and have learned the basics, then go on and enjoy this article. But if you are still in the learning stage or have not even started learning it, this may be the perfect article to get you started. So now as you are going to start learning, you might have a lot of questions about what exactly is coding? Is it complicated or difficult ? Do you need strong mathematics ? and much more…

Don’t worry friends I am here to bust all your myths and and solve all your problems and give you the right confidence. I assure that by the end of this article you will start your learning sessions with an overall boosted confidence. So lets get started with the top 5 myths about coding.

1 — CODING IS COMPLICATED

My answer about this is “CODING IS NOT AT ALL COMPLICATED”. It always depends on how you look at it. It depends on you if you want to make it complicated or not. Many people who give wrong opinions about coding are just too tired with their life and coding is just a lame excuse they give. In reality they are not at all interested in what they write. You can change that if you write code in a positive attitude.

2 — YOU NEED STRONG MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

You really don’t need to be good at mathematics to be able to code. There is no relation between writing an Artificial Intelligence and finding how many prime numbers are there between 1 and 100. It just doesn’t make any sense. Mathematics comes in picture only and only if you want to write programs that include mathematical logic like plotting graphs. So don’t worry if you are bad at math like me, you can still be a fabulous coder.

3 — CODING IS SOMETHING YOU WILL DO ALONE

Having partners entirely depends upon you, I cannot force you to keep a group around you while coding. But if you let everything go with the flow, you will surely have a beautiful little group of coders. Coding is a big passion for some people so you will definitely meet some really good people in this endless journey. Sharing your codes with them and reading their code will surely make coding a fun game for you.

4 — CODING IS BORING AND NOT CREATIVE

This is a competely wrong about people who code. Its not that coding is not creative, its just that the person writing the code is not creative and boring. With coding you can make really creative and useful applications and software. It often happens that people cannot achieve some goal in a particular language then they decide to curse the language and change it. Then they have silly errors and that’s where they feel coding is boring. Such people are they reason why coding has a bad opinion in everyones eyes, otherwise if done with pleasure, coding can be as beautiful as the rainbow.

5 — YOU NEED POWERFUL HARDWARE TO CODE

I really laughed when I first thought of writing it. Believe me it is true only for the small kids who want a gaming computer but don’t have the courage to ask for it, so they directly say “Mom my school projects can only be done on a gaming computer”. Some parents fall for it. I am really glad I never had to ask anything to my parents, I already had it before. You really don’t need any kind of fancy computer to write better code. When I had started coding I never had powerful hardware. I started on a 2.2Ghz Pentium with 2Gb RAM running a late update of windows XP. Then I had started C and C++ programming.

So the conclusion is there are too many lies and false opinions about coding. It always depends on how you look at it. So I hope you liked it and if you think it deserves something please do leave a CLAP and a follow on my Instagram.
